Construction Injury Case
Construction Worker Compensated for Lost Wages & Medical Bills After Back Injury
In May, worker John Howe unloaded over a thousand pieces of sheetrock at a construction site. John managed to finish out the day, but in a lot of pain.
The next day, he reported his injury to his employer because he arrived at work and could barely get out of his car due to the severe back pain he was experiencing. Mr. Howe was prescribed a course of physical therapy and a work hardening program at a local hospital to help strengthen his back. In October, John tried to return to work but the pain was too severe to continue.Mr. Howe sought out a neurologist who felt that Mr. Howe was totally disabled from his job. He continued physical therapy and pain medications for flare ups.
We successfully obtained a replacement of his lost wages and medical bills through the worker’s compensation system. We reached a substantial settlement on Mr. Howe’s behalf.
